Synopsis
Upon the death of her sister, Sandine learns to cope with the loss and raising her sister’s three children. Not only does her sister appoint her legal guardian of her children but she left her a substantial amount of money in a trust fund.
Just when things smooth out and settle, the children’s grandfather, who has been estranged from his son for over seventeen years, is demanding she turn the children and the trust fund over to him. He threatens to destroy her life if she doesn’t comply. When she defies him, he wages a war of threats, intimidation, stalking and an attempted kidnapping as a few of his schemes to get what he wants.
With the help of Matt Palmer, a man who owns an animal shelter from who she adopted a pet for the kids, she fights back. He gets Pete, a friend, involved who happens to be a cop to send patrols to come by her house at various times. She fortifies her home with security cameras, inhouse alarms and motion sensors. Even those don’t stop the man from sending his subordinates after her.
When none of the grandfather’s tactics work, he resorts to the only thing left: Murder. Will Matt be able to save her from this madman or will be too late to save her?
